Back in around 2010, when the iPhone 4 came out, they announced new functionality that allowed you to text animated gifs. I immediately had the idea for an app of text ready gifs, and thus GifText was born. It was the first gif texting app in the store, and lived at the number one spot for almost 3 years. We even cracked into the top 100 downloaded apps for awhile.
